‘Music Under Glass’ returns for 2010
The popular “Music Under Glass” series begins its 2010 season this month at Mitchell Park Horticultural Domes, 524 S. Layton Blvd.
Presented by Potawatomi Bingo Casino, the series offers live every Tuesday and Thursday from 6;30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. In addition to music, computer-generated light shows featuring the new interior lighting take place during concert breaks and after performances.
Long a popular attraction for residents and visitors to the area, the Domes complex includes arid and tropical domes, along with a show dome with changing exhibits. The new interior and exterior lighting was installed last year as part of a major repair project.
Admission to the concerts is $6.50 for adults and $5 for youth, ages 6-17.
