THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS, after making it to the National Basketball Association playoffs last year under coach Terry Porter, are hoping to repeat this season. Seven home games are on tap for February. home games this month: COLLEGE BASKETBALL Men’s and women’s basketball teams from Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee have become increasingly competitive with the best teams in the nation. In February of the teams prepare for conference tournaments and, if Marquette and UWM men’s teams continue to perform well, berths in the NCAA or NIT post-season tournaments. Marquette men call the Bradley Center home, while UWM men play home games in the adjacent U.S. Cellular Arena. Marquette women play in the new Al McGuire Center on campus, while the UWM women play in the Klotsche Center on the UWM Campus.
