Injured Bucks fight for playoff spot

FACED WITH injuries to starters, including leading-scorer Michael Redd, The Milwaukee Bucks are using reserves and new players to stay in contention for the National Basketball Association playoffs.

The Bucks have been strong on their home court, the Bradley Center at 1001 N. 4th St., but face some of the NBA’s best in February. Tickets are available  at the Bradley Center Box Office or through Ticketmaster at 414-276-4545. Visit www.bucks.com for additional information.

College Basketball

Marquette University of the Big East conference and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) of the Horizon League have top men’s and women’s basketball squads. Marquette men play at the Bradley Center, while the UWM men play at the U.S. Cellular Arena. Marquette women play in the Al McGuire Center on campus and the UWM women compete on campus in the Klotsche Center.
