		feature article - march 2007 *Cedar Creek Winery holds 18th annual open house* CEDAR CREEK WINERY, located in the historic 1864 Cedar Creek Settlement, hosts a gala 18th Annual Open House from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 18. Visitors can barrel-taste 2006 vintages with Winemaker Philippe Coquard and sample many gold and silver awardwinning wines. Cedar Creek Winery also will offer samplings of their own estate-grown wine, Hillside Blossoms, at the Open House. This wine comes from vines grown in the St. Pepin and LaCrosse vineyards overlooking the Wisconsin River. The open house also features live entertainment, cooking with wine demonstrations and food tasting, and more. The Artisan Charity Auction is a live voice auction on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Cedar Creek Settlement merchants and other Cedarburg businesses have donated dozens of wonderful items, including jewelry, wine, framed prints, pottery, gift certificates and more.Proceeds benefit Special Olympics. Cedar Creek Settlement is located on the corner of Washington and Bridge in Cedarburg, just 20 minutes north of Milwaukee.
