Bucks host seven at Bradley Center

Recognized as the premier showcase for top high school basketball talent since 1978, the games feature 24 boys and 24 girls selected from a pool of more than 2,500 athletes. Many past National Basketball Association stars are expected to attend and participate in the three-day program. Major public events include the Powerade Jam Fest March 24 at the US Cellular Arena, 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. NBA Hall of Famer Julius (Dr. J) Erving will be a judge for the event. The Bradley Center, 1001 N. Fourth St., will be the site of the games March 26, with the girls tipping off at 6 p.m. and the boys at 8:30 p.m. Purchase tickets through www.thebradleycenter.com. Always a contender in the Major Indoor Soccer League, the Wave again has worked its way to the top of the standings this season. The Wave’s home games are played at the U.S. Cellular Arena, 400 W. Home games this month: Indoor Pro Football THE MILWAUKEE BONECRUSHERS open their first season in Continental Indoor Football League this month with two home games in the U.S. Cellular Arena, 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. The first two games are at 7:30 p.m. March 21 against the Chicago Slaughter and 7:30 p.m.March 29 against the Muskegon Thunder. SPEED SKATING THE PETTIT National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic training center, this month hosts two major short-track speed skating championships, showcasing the top competitors from the U.S. and Canada. The U.S. Short Track National Championships are set for March 7-9, while the North American Short Track Championships will be staged March 14-16 at the Pettit rink, 500 S. 84th St. just south of I-94. Youth hockey teams from throughout the Midwest will visit the Pettit March 14-16 for the Shamrock Shootout.
