Opening Day Special

New-look Brewers open NL season

THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS, with a new look that extends from the field to the owner’s box, open the baseball season this month at Miller Park.

In the offseason, financier Mark Attanacio led a group of investors in purchasing the team from the family of Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig. Subsequently, a number of trades were made to strengthen the National League team on the field.

Miller Park, just west of the downtown area, is a retractable dome that allows games to be played even in the unpredictable days of April. Tickets may be purchased through the Brewers’ Web site, www.milwaukeebrewers.com or at the box office.
