Brewers open season against Dodgers and Cubs
THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS open the National League baseball season this month with 12 home games, including three against the Chicago Cubs which are expected to again fill Miller Park with fans of both teams.
The pitching staff for the Brewers has been strengthened this year with the addition of veteran Jeff Suppan, formerly of the world champion St. Louis Cardinals. Suppan was named the most valuable player of the National League championship series last season.
With its retractable roof, Miller Park just west of the downtown area guarantees that games are played regardless of the weather. Tickets are available at the Miller Park Box Office or online at www.brewers.mlb.com.

Bucks close out season
THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS close out a disappointing National Basketball Season this month with eight home games, including a rescheduled January game.
In March, the Bucks replaced head coach Terry Stotts with Larry Krystkowiak, an assistant coach and former Bucks standout.
