MAY, 2004 THE MILWAUKEE Brewers, who got off to a good start in April, play host to five National League opponents in May. The affiliate with the highly successful Milwaukee Wave indoor franchise last year posted the best regular season record in the A-League. May home contests: MOTOR SPORTS Southeastern Wisconsin boasts two centers for motor sports, the famed Milwaukee Mile at Wisconsin State Fair Park and Road America, one of the country's leading road racing tracks in Elkhart Lake north of Milwaukee. The season opens this month at Road America with the Sports Car Vintage Racing Association weekend May 14-16. Included in the weekend is the May 15 Road America Tailgate Party with Big Wheel racing for children. Also, the Road America Karting Club will compete on the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex. The second event of the season will feature bikes in the American Motorcycle Association's Suzuki Superbike Doubleheader June 3-5.
