MAY 2005 16 home games on tap for Brewers in May

THE MILWAUKEE WAVE of the Major Indoor Soccer League is a contender for the championship nearly every year and 2005 is no different. After finishing in first place during the season, the Wave defeated St. Louis in the championship semi-finals and will play the first of a two-game championship series at 8 p.m. May 14 in the U.S. Cellular Arena, 400 W. SOUTHEASTERN Wisconsin has two major tracks – the Milwaukee Mile at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis and Road America in Elkhart Lake north of Milwaukee. This month sports cars and road racing take center stage. At the Milwaukee Mile May 14 & 15, the Great Lakes Sport Car Club and the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs will present The Great Lakes Grand Prix, using the historic speedway’s infield road course.
