FESTIVAL OF ARTS GRACES LAKEFRONT JUNE 18-20
SINCE 1963, the Lakefront Festival of Arts has grown from a “nice little art festival in Milwaukee” to become one of the premier outdoor art events in the United States.
The festival attracts approximately 65,000 people each year during its three-day run, and is held on the grounds of the Milwaukee Art Museum. 700 N. Art Museum Dr. This year, festival hours are noon-9 p.m. Friday, June 18; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, June 19; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, June 20.
During the festival,
visitors enjoy the Sculpture Garden, a wide range of food and beverages,
entertainment and children’s art activities
in the Creation Station. The event benefits MAM’s Art Acquisition
and Exhibition Fund, and is sponsored by Friends
of Art.
