FESTIVAL OF ARTS GRACES LAKEFRONT JUNE 18-20 SINCE 1963, the Lakefront Festival of Arts has grown from a “nice little art festival in Milwaukee” to become one of the premier outdoor art events in the United States. The festival attracts approximately 65,000 people each year during its three-day run, and is held on the grounds of the Milwaukee Art Museum. 700 N. Art Museum Dr. This year, festival hours are noon-9 p.m. Friday, June 18; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, June 19; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, June 20. During the festival,
visitors enjoy the Sculpture Garden, a wide range of food and beverages,
entertainment and children’s art activities
in the Creation Station. The event benefits MAM’s Art Acquisition
