MOTOR SPORTS

SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN boasts two centers for motor sports, the famed Milwaukee Mile at Wisconsin State Fair Park and Road America, one of the country’s leading road racing tracks at Elkhart Lake north of Milwaukee.

June 3-5 will find activity at both tracks. Champ cars will be in Milwaukee for the 250-lap Champ Car World Series race Saturday night, June 5. Leading up to the big race will be the Toyota Atlantic Championship and the Barber Dodge Pro Series. For information visit www.milwaukeemile.com, or call 453-8277.

Later this month, NASCAR Weekend is scheduled June 24-26 at the Milwaukee Mile. Included will be the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Busch Series. Road America will host SCCA sports car racing June 17-20.
