AUGUST 2005 Surprising Brewers drawing big crowds at Miller Park THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS, with a new look that extends from the field to the owner’s box, have been extremely competitive at home and away this season. This month 14 home games are scheduled, including an important series with the St. Louis Cardinals. Home for the Brewers is Miller Park, just west of the downtown area. SOUTHEASTERN Wisconsin has two major tracks – the Milwaukee Mile at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis and Road America in Elkhart Lake north of Milwaukee. NOW IN ITS sixth year as the nation’s premiere playground basketball event, the AND 1 Mix Tape® Tour presented by Mountain Dew hits the U.S. Cellular Arena Aug. 4. The event begins with an open run at 4 p.m. and game time of 7:30 p.m. The AND 1 Mix Tape Tour will hit 30 cities this summer.
