THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS will use two preseason games this month to show fans and opponents their new look, engineered by new general manager John Hammond and carried out by new coach Scott Skiles. Hammond, long-time vice president of the Detroit Pistons, has quickly changed the face of the Bucks through off-season trades and signings that added high-scoring forward Richard Jefferson, guards Luke Ridnour and Damon Jones and several other veteran players. The newcomers join Bucks veterans Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut, along with highly regarded rookie Joe Alexander. The Bucks open the home season Nov. 1 against the Toronto Raptors. THE MILWAUKEE ADMIRALS of the American Hockey League open the season this month, after a preseason tune-up against the rival Chicago Wolves. The preseason game Oct. 4 against Chicago will be played at the Kern Center of Milwaukee School of Engineering. Tickets for the exhibition and for October regular-season games played at the Bradley Center are available at the Admirals office, 510 W.
