NBA Bucks open season

THE MILWAUKEE BUCKS, after making it to the National Basketball Association season playoffs last year under coach Terry Porter, open the season this month. All home games are at the Bradley Center, 1001 N. Fourth St. For ticket information, visit or stop by the Bradley Center Ticket Office.

PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY
THE MILWAUKEE ADMIRALS, champions of the American Hockey League last season, open the 2004-2005 season Oct. 15 against the Chicago Wolves. Admirals games are played in the Bradley Center, 1001 N. Fourth St. For tickets, visit the Bradley Center Box office or the Admirals Office in the Bradley Center.

PROFESSIONAL SOCCER
THE MILWAUKEE WAVE of the Major Indoor Soccer League plays all home matches at the U.S. Cellular Arena, 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. The Wave plays three home games this month: Nov. 6 versus the Kansas City Comets at 6:05 p.m., Nov. 13 against the Cleveland Force at 6:05 p.m. and Nov. 13 against the Monterrey Fury at 7:05 p.m. Individual game tickets are available by calling the Wave at 414-224-9285.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL
Men’s and women’s basketball teams from Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee open their seasons this month. The Marquette men call the Bradley Center home, while the UWM men play home games in the U.S. Cellular Arena. Marquette women will open the season in the new Al McGuire Center on campus, while the UWM women play in the Klotsche Center on the UWM Campus.

Nov. 3 vs. Lewis (exhibition in the McGuire Center), 7 p.m.
Nov. 9 vs. UW-Stevens Point (exhibition), 7 p.m.
Nov. 14-16 Marquette hosts the BCA Classic Tournament: Air Force, Louisville, Jacksonville State, Mississippi, South Carolina and Western Carolina.
Nov. 19-20 Marquette hosts Binghamton, Kent State and Sam Houston State in the 43rd Pepsi Blue and Gold Classic.

UWM men’s home games:

Nov. 10 vs. Lawrence (exhibition), 7 p.m.

COLLEGE TENNIS
The Milwaukee Tennis Classic brings top collegiate players to Marquette University’s Helfaer Center Nov. 3-7. Early round matches are played at area tennis clubs as well as the Helfaer Center, with finals beginning at 11 a.m. Nov. 7 in the Helfaer Center.

KICKBOXING
The Gladiators Kickboxing “Battle in the Ballroom” returns to Milwaukee Nov. 13 with atletes from around the country. Three hours of action will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Ramada Inn Grand Ballroom, 6401 S. 13th St. For tickets, call (414) 319-1151.
