Holiday spirit fills Historic Cedarburg
THE LAST few days of November and the first days of December bring a flurry of holiday cheer to Historic Cedarburg.
The 2nd Annual Winter Garden Holiday Show is a free, juried event on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1, featuring 30 artists and exhibitors at the Cedarburg Cultural Center, W62N546 Washington Ave. Show hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
Browse shabby chic items, garden art and photos, holiday gifts, antiques and collectibles, wreaths and arrangements, pottery and jewelry, and a silent auction. Relax and enjoy tea, wine and cheese, or lunch in the latticed “garden” area.
Exhibitors include Jeanine Burkhardt, antiques and shabby chic; Marcia Getto, photographer and Bob Holmes, woodworker. For more info, visit www.wintergardenshow.com or phone 262-377-6572 for more info. Proceeds benefit the Cedarburg Cultural Center.
Also delighting visitors will be the Cedarburg Artists’ Guild Holiday Art Show, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at the Cedarburg Community Center, located across the street and several blocks north of the cultural center. Artworks displaying the talents of the guild’s member artists will be available for purchase from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
Adding to the fun that weekend will be the annual Christmas in the Country show at the Cedar Creek Settlement, Thursday, Nov. 29-Sunday, Dec. 2. Throughout Historic Cedarburg, shops and boutiques offer unique “finds” for holiday giving.
