DECEMBER brings a flurry of holiday cheer to Historic Cedarburg. The Winter Garden Holiday Show and the Holiday Art Fair will be held Friday and Saturday, Dec. 4-5. Both shows offer free admission as well as fine arts and crafts. In addition, the Christmas in the Country show at the Cedar Creek Settlement will be held Dec. 4-6. The fourth annual Winter Garden Holiday Show brings more than 30 new and returning participants to deck the halls of the Cedarburg Cultural Center, W62 N546 Washington Ave. Selections range from furniture, artwork and ironwork to jewelry, wreaths and clothing. In addition to being inspired by nature, a number of artists use recycled materials to create art in a “green” way. The show’s café offers homemade winter harvest soups, sweets, tea and wine and cheese. Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and 9-5 p.m. Saturday. For more information, visit www.wintergardenshow.com.

Kicking off in November at the Settlement is Festive Friday Eves. Held 5-9 p.m. on Nov. 20, Nov. 27 and Dec. 4, Dec. 11 and Dec. 18, these are family-oriented, evening events with a special holiday theme each evening.
