Casino adds
Dream jazz club
MILWAUKEE’S
Potawatomi Bingo Casino has taken another step toward becoming a complete
entertainment destination with the launching of a jazz club.
Dream Dance,
the casino’s four-star, four-diamond restaurant, now
takes on a club atmosphere from 10 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays,
complete with live jazz and a special menu.
Called Dream, the
new club in the intimate setting of the restaurant will feature such
top acts
as the Donna Woodall Group, the Bennett Carl
Group and Rapture with Mike Walters.
“At 10 o’clock, the lights are going to come down and our
guests will be able to enjoy some delicious food, excellent drinks and
top-quality
live jazz,” explained General Manager Christian Damiano. “We
see Dream as yet another form of entertainment for our guests at Potawatomi
Bingo Casino and we’re sure it’s one they’ll love.”
Jason
Gorman, chef de cuisine at Dream Dance, has preapared a new Dream menu
with features such as Polenta fries with spicy ketchup, King Crab
Margarita with chili, lime and coconut salsa and Wisconsin Carr Valley
cheeses with oatmeal crackers. He said plans also call for an expansion
of the wine list, along with a significant reduction in pries.
Damiano
noted that Dream Dance will continue to offer its regular menu during
the same times as it has in the past. “We haven’t
turned Dream Dance into a club,” he pointed out. “But now
our guests can stay after dinner and enjoy Dream and new guests can come
to Dream Dance just for the late night menu, drinks and jazz.”
Potawatomi
Casino is a showcase for high-stakes bingo and also features blackjack,
Let-it-Ride Bonus Poker, craps and roulette table games, video
and reel slot machines and a variety of entertainment. The casino is
at 1721 W. Canal St., a short drive from downtown Milwaukee south on
6th St. and west on Canal.
