Thunderbirds return to Milwaukee for Air & Water show
Milwaukee’s Air & Water Show returns to the lakefront July 27 and 28, headlined by precision flying by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the first appearance in the show of F-35 Lightning Demonstration Team. Flying Thunderbird #6 will be Capt. Michelle Curran, from Medford, Wis.
Presented by WaterStone Bank, the show is scheduled for 10am-4pm each day. In addition to the Thunderbirds and F-35 Lightning, performers include the Army's Golden Knights parachute team, F-22 Rapture demo Team, the Navy’s F/A-18 demo team, Air Force C-17 Globe Master, Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon Demo Team, John Klatt's Super Waco jet-powered biplane, and Red Bull air racing champion Michael Goulian.
Water acts include The Milwaukee Fireboat, Glen Kennedy's one-of-a-kind Outerlimits SV 43 powerboat, Coast Guard rescue helicopter, and the Badgerland and Muskego Waterbugs water ski teams.
Land displays include the Kidz Fun Zone, the Air Force X-1 Mustang SuperCar and flight simulator, and the Air National Guard tour, as well as many food and beverage options.
