In its second year, the Plaza at Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum will welcome German American Events LLC's Christkindlmarket, a German-style holiday market packed with vendor booths, live entertainment and internationally inspired food and beverage favorites. From Nov. 15-Dec. 24, visitors can shop till they drop and indulge in food fare such as pretzels, sausages, potato pancakes, tortes, imported beer and, of course, glühwein (hot spiced wine).
New in 2019, the family-friendly market will feature additional vendors and activities, and an updated layout. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Christkindlmarket visitors can avoid long lines and reserve a Stammtisch in the heated Timber Tent, a festively decorated table that seats eight and lets guests pick from a variety of packages, which include market food and drink specialties, starting at $200. Reservations can be made online at christkindlmarket.com/stammtisch/reservations.
This year's Christkindlmarket souvenir mug design will be revealed at the beginning of November.
Milwaukee's Christkindlmarket will be open 11am-8pm Sundays through Thursdays and 11am-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. On Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve, the market will be open from 11am- 4pm.
