Best of Milwaukee

Book A HotelIF MORE IS BETTER, July is the best month of the year to be in the Milwaukee area. Summerfest wraps up its 11-day run, followed on the lakefront festival grounds by concerts, Festa Italiana and German Fest, which this year includes the city's first night air show. Old favorites like the Circus Parade and the Air and Water Show return, Bastille Days continue to celebrate all things French and Gallery Night and Day fills area galleries. The 41st International Cycling Classic and Superweek pro series returns to the historic lakefront and Brewer's Hill courses, as well as its traditional Shorewood, Downer Avenue, Cedarburg and Whitefish Bay races and the U.S. Bank (PGA) Championship again will bring the pros to Brown Deer Golf Course.

There are so many options that you will want to check our Arts & Entertainment and Special Events listings regularly. And golfers won't want to miss our look at Wisconsin's six "fatal" courses.
